Please join us Friday September 28 to welcome Betty Krawzcyk back. Vancouver s 79 year old grandmother is getting out of jail. She has just spent 7 months imprisoned for trying to stop the destruction of Eagle Ridge Bluffs.. It would really mean a lot to her to see as many of us as
possible. Everything she does is because she cares so much about future generations and what we can do to save this planet. Please join us in welcoming her back.

This will be a fun event with speakers and lots of dancing, bands, performances, great DJ's and much more dancing. The event is a fund raiser for her legal expenses.

TEAM H2V is a group of 5 lower mainland riders who left halifax friday september 14. they are riding, relay style, non-stop to raise awareness and funds for juvenile diabetes. they are scheduled to arrive in vancouver on saturday september 22 in english bay. 9 days later! they are looking for people to ride with them as they arrive in the lower mainland. please check out teamh2v especially the blog link as it will give details of the route as they get nearer.

welcome al gore to vancouver and demand action on climate change. send a strong message to premier campbell that gateway is the wrong way. rail and buses not highways. bring your signs and banners for a rally outside the bayshore. al gore will be inside the bayshore giving his inconvenient truth presentation. if you can't afford the $500 tickets, please join us for the rally outside, just to the east of the bayshore. premier campbell will be introducing mr. gore. the gateway program will increase traffic throughout the region thus increasing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions by at least 176,000,000 kg per year!
