I could add/correct a few things but it's awesome that nostalgia.

Nostalgia is so powerful that sometimes the old guard will lament the passing of time and say that things have "died off" because it will never be as epic or wonderful as it once was.
Which is silly.
But actually I do like that article about Portland because it gives some interesting history and really is just a call to revitalize and let go of the past - so, not a sad obsession about nostalgia at all really.
