Occupy Wall Street, Global Revolution, Fun
There is a movement to Occupy Wall Street. It's a call for social justice in our world where social welfare gets cut and large business is seen as crucial and gets massive bailouts. This is instigated by Adbusters Magazine of Vancouver. Adbusters, ironically, is often more style than substance. But its nice to see them supporting a real protest in the streets for once. Last time I remember that happening was in November 1998 for the Buy Nothing Day Critical Mass. There is a live stream video of the occupation in NY. And they call for people in other cities to also gather. Vancouver's stock exchange is only a block from The Art Gallery. ;-)
